AppsProdigy: A computer based game where students can create a character and go up in levels by solving math problems in order to attack monsters and gain experience. It is an interactive game that can be played with their classmates.
Kahoot: The teacher can create assessment for learning, assessment of learning, and assessment as learning. This is a fun and competitive method of conducting assessment in the classroom, in a way that students can create usernames and remain anonymous to the rest of the class. Plickers: Similar to Kahoot, it is a way of conducting assessment in a situation where not ever student has a device. The teacher can print cards that students use and which allow for an A, B, C, or D answer to be provided and which are scored by using a phone or tablet to record student responses. |
